David Justice

David is the lead artist and founder of American Gypsy. David is a fine artist that has chosen tattooing as a preferred medium due to the sanctity of the shared experience. He does not design anything prior to his appointments because he believes the process should be a collaboration in creation from beginning to end.

He cherishes the relationships built throughout the process, and in David's 27 years of tattooing, he has made many friends that he will carry with him the rest of his life. His clients would say he is Loyal, Honest and a brilliant artist. If David isn't tattooing, he is likely painting. His life is about art and creation, in one way or another.



 David specializes in his own style of oriental tattoos, as well as Organica. He draws these directly on the skin with a sharpie. "Tattoos are fine art that should fit the body and be shaped to it." He also specializes in realistic tattoos, integration of elements, coverups, large pieces, and full body designs. There isn't any style he won't tackle.
